Around 250 degrees and 10-12 watts. Too high wattage will crack the donut. You can mess around with the temp and see what you like.

Yeah I kind of wish there was some type of splash cap on the globe and AC. Using the black ceramic donut on splattery dual coils isn't my favorite fix. The glass on the AC just gets doused in oil regardless. Wish that could be avoided somehow. Like a closed system over the coils that catches...

Yeah the fit on the unimizer is snug. Its very easy on and off. The biggest advantage to me of the w9 donut is the ability to use it with a nibbler bubbler. You can't beat that.
