My quartz dish seems to have cracked while heating up recently :s. Are there other third party dishes that would fit the vrod?

Has anybody had this issue before? My controller randomly shuts off and does not display the temperature anymore but the res OUT light is on/blinking. I’ve tried to switch fuses and I still get the same result. If I shut it off and wait a few minutes before turning it back on it seems to work...

@NewVape710 have you ever thought of integrating the screen into the bowl so that is doesn't always fall out? Something like the screen on a 3 piece grinder?

My coil isn’t from new vape it’s from high 5. It was a tad bit shorter in height than the new vape coil so I opened it up. The new vape coils are 15.5 mm.

Stretched out my coil slightly so that’s it’s 15mm in height and filled the bowl up nicely, around half or so. Man-oh-man. Felt like I took a huge dab! I think it’s working better now. Had the temp at 670, might have been too hot. Felt like I burnt my throat lol

Before I messed around with the temp, my pid came set to 710 and I had roughly the same results. That pic was at~670-680 and I heat soaked the bowl and vrod head. I'll try heat soaking all of them before I take a rip (with out the bowl loaded). Looking into a bigger rig as well. I found...

So, I dialled up the temp to 680-700 for a few rips (w carb cap) and let bowl heat soak for a while. Seemed to work well. Yet to test indoors if there is a difference Not sure how to upload pics here... Make an imgur link?

I wonder if my coil could also be a problem area. It’s a high 5 coil (4 wraps), only seems loose if I shake the head assembly abruptly. Other than that, seems solid

That’s what I was thinking lol. It’s the only variable I have yet to change. There’s no room for the vapour to accumulate. Straight to the lungs

Herb is ground and fairly dry. Just need to dial it in. I mean, I'm getting decent vapour from the vrod w carb cap but it's not "white walling" my rig. Which is what someone who has it told me (using the shower hea). Not sure how much of a difference there is with that vs vrod

@Pyr0 @VaporWare Using the vrod, I have the temp set to ~650. Generally, I draw at a medium-fast rate, with the carb cap on, using a small dab rig and the bowl fairly full What are some tips to help get bigger hit with out the carb cap? Just bump them temp and take a medium/fast draw

Really? When I don't use the carb cap it seems like there is not a whole lot of vapour. I'll try again with a tiny amount of flower (w & w/o carb cap) and see how it compares

How much flower does everyone Load in the flowerpot? I've found filling the bowl 3/4 full gives me the most vapour, with the carb cap on

Noob question, does anybody notice that the vrod head doesn't sit perfectly level on the bowl? (Without holding it) So far this thing is wicked, love it!
