My Tera has always behaved that way (standby after battery change). I assumed that was the way it worked and just pressed 5 to shut off and continued on from there. Other than that my Tera has been great - no burn in was needed in April when I got it and no other issues since - guess I'm lucky.
My 18650's (used in tera v3) are 5-6 months old and still charging fine - don't know how they'll be at 8 months but fairly cheap to replace. How often do you recharge?
Come to think of it, the original set that came with the tera does seem to be weakening a bit...:)
Just out of curiosity, are there any other vapes that use 18650 batteries (other than tera and uno)?
I've had my tera for 6 months and really like it. Seems like there are some with proprietary batteries ($$$) but not with 18650's.
I've searched this thread for an answer to this question with no joy -
How many hits do you get from full bowl? I seem to be getting more than I expect - 20 to 25 or more.
Thanks for the Tera info - I did not know that the Tera was preventing me from running the batteries too low. Just one more good thing about this vape. It has rapidly become my favorite. I removed the mouthpiece filter and use S&B capsules with no screen in the chamber. Still draws a bit...
How far should I run my batteries down before recharging? I've read that 30% charge left should be about right but I'd like to know how more experienced users think. TIA
Thanks - that's good to know - many things are not in the tera docs (as I have mentioned in other posts). In this case I pulled the batteries, reloaded them and started over - all ok now. Or maybe a brain fart...
I just changed the batteries in my tera but after I turned it on I seem to be stuck in concentrate mode - temp goes up to 500 and the down button won't lower the temp. My previous setting was 370 and it was working fine at that temp. Any help (or suggestions)...? TIA
Well, I emailed the Pax folks through their website questioning the exorbitant shipping charge. Took 4 days to get a reply (as opposed to 3 days the last time). The reply was that "the company is not responsible for the shipping charge - it's because of State Regulations" (?).
Sounds a bit...
Thanks, that was exactly the answer - guess I didn't wait long enough on the first charge. Might pick up a charger at some point but for right now my laptop gets the job done - it's on 16 hours a day anyway so might as well be charging batteries...
When charging, does the indicator on the display ever stop flashing and show a solid white battery icon? I charged my Tera for a good 3 hours and finally removed the charging cord. The battery icon on the display that shows up when I press the temp button is solid but while it was charging the...
The folks at Pax have lost their collective mind - was going to order Pax accessories just now but found that for a total order of less than $10, MINIMUM shipping charge is more than $16! This for something that could easily be sent in a business envelope for less than a buck...
