I've been tinkering with the titanium stem for 2 days. I really like it a lot, it cools the vapour nicely by the time it reaches your mouth. and as you say, is very durable for day to day out and about use.
It is definitely 'safer' to use an external charger, however none of them will charge at anywhere near the rate the USB-C onboard charge will.
Regarding battery longevity, I'm not so sure that is such an issue these days. With a Molicell 18650 costing only around £6 if you shop about, they...
battery discharge shouldn't really affect performance as it's a regulated device. When there is not enough power to heat at the temp you have set it will auto shutdown anyway.
it's intuitive for a regular vaper. The problem arises when you hand it to somebody who has never vaped. Session mode is perfect for these scenarios as all they have to do is put it in their gob and inhale.
i've held off making comparisons for the first few days as I wanted to be confident and certain in my comments. TM2 appears to be be everything the OG TM should have been IMHO.
I love the USB-C charging as I am forgetful with charging so when I go to use it and its flat, by the time I've put...
I made the mistake of getting over excited and just took it out of the box and used it without thinking.
It was a clean experience with no evidence of any oil or burn off needed.
i did however clean it later that day, but am not convinced it was necessary.
I had broken the glass sleeve after dropping it a few times. Stopped using it for a few months and eventually got around to ordering new sleeves from TM.
I fixed it and had it performing satisfactorily but wanted it hotter, so I calibrated to +1 above factory calibration.
Much happier now.
