Generally speaking, let's say what you are going to inhale is of low quality, possibly contaminated, moldy, or otherwise bad. There is merit to smoking it instead of vaping it, since you will burn mold spores or whatever it is that might make the thing contaminated. Vaping it might allow you to...
What is the point of the Air, when the Solo and Argo exist? I've held them side by side and the Air is almost as big as the Solo. The Air and Solo have the same heating element, the Air just has lightly less battery life. Both have mouthpieces sticking out so they are not portable like the Argo...
Came on to see what had happened on the Hopper thread. Maybe it was full of people finally raving about it? The kinks had been worked out and people very joyously toking away on their pen shaped vaping gadgets? But no, the same old air of despair prevails, and the Hopper still acts as the...
I miss the V3. I took my old one apart to its individual pieces to clean it, assembled it and sold it to a lucky buyer. I was surprised by the internals and how simple yet effective it was. I don't remember seeing a motherboard but could be wrong. In any case, pretty reliable. Two years later...
Does the Hopper IO break as often as the original Grasshopper? Are the repair times still in the months/years? I really liked my Grasshopper but like for so many others, it crapped out on me. Is the new IO better? I still haven't found a vaporizer with equal performance. Is that water glass...
Yes, I hold the Pax 2 upside down while heating. It keeps the herbs in contact with the oven instead of sitting on the oven lid which isn't heated. It works and the difference is night and day if you just have a small pinch in there.
I'm selling my entire vape collection  (keeping the DaVinci IQ for now though). It saddens me quite a lot to sell some of these, especially the Haze Dual V3 which has seen some adventures like visiting reggae festivals and so on. Some of these haven't been used much however. I'm selling...
The problem with all that gunk is that it is probably full of THC. If people are cooling their vapor to the point of it sticking/clogging the tubes after only 3 sessions, it's probably about as efficient as smoking a joint with two cigarettes filters at the end. THC is said to make you cough, so...
This must be knock over weed week! I was googling how to recover spilled weed the other day and found this post from 2010 that tells about the sock vacuum method. Now you post this... What a coincidence. Guess what I did? Was loading the IQ and dropped my opened grinder with 5 grams of weed...
That definitely doesn't sound right. Mine lasts for 3-5 sessions before battery blinks low. It does get hot but hasn't shut off by itself. Was yours like this from the beginning or did the problem present itself gradually?
Mine does this as well. I don't know if it really means it has drained however, or if its just a software bug. It could be tested by ignoring the warning and keep using the vaporizer until it turns off by itself. If you got 3-4 more sessions the battery was probably not empty, and the warning...
I must say this is the best portable vaporizer at the moment, period. The temperature is so accurate and the effects, cloud density and flavor so noticeable on the different temperature settings. I just went from 174 C to 183 and seeing 30% bigger clouds and more toasty flavor. That is very...
I ended up soaking a q tip with iso and jamming it past the silicone gasket opening. I was able to reach underneath it and did a few rotations. Got most of the gunk out that way. Cobra505, did you actually use the brush under the silicone gasket, or did you use it in the oven?
I have a question: how do you clean behind the ceramic oven? There is a silicone gasket between the flavor chamber and the oven, and I have some gunk there which I don't know how to clean. Any suggestions?
Also, is it bad to blow into this device to clean out the air path? Some vapes you can...
Can the Haze Dual V3 charger also charge regular 18650 batteries? About to get a mod that needs these types of batteries and hoping my trusty old Haze charger can juice them up.
I hope the Haze Dual V4 changes some aspects of this vape! I'd like to see:
Digital oven selection instead of mechanical lever
Ability to use both ovens at different temps the same time. Imagine vaping two bowls of different strains, or one bowl of wax at temp 4 and one oven of flower at temp...
Ok. The Haze usually just needs a tap. The Pax 2 kind of needs a real stir, and the Firefly 2 really needs to be opened up and stirred to be satisfactory. Sounds good if the IQ is in the former camp as stirring is one of the things I really hate about vapes, lol.
Is a special screwdriver required or does the plastic honeycomb exterior webbing flex? It partially covers the screws and I don't want to crack it by forcing a small screwdriver in there. Both screws are partially blocked off with one of those "webs".
