The only benefit is that when it gets knocked over it smashes and needs to be replaced.
Some might find direct inhalation of hot vapor to be irritating, so you could in theory let the hit vaporize in the globe, allow it to cool, then take it. The problem with this is that you are almost sure...
if it looks like there is a puddle of reclaim right under the coil, it's not, just a weird reflection in the picture. all the oil stays in the cone and doesnt fall out, holds at least 3 dabs worth, I prefer load as you go for the cleaner taste. whatever little reclaim does build up is super easy...
This is exactly what I've been doing, and it works great. I made a solid core 'waffle cone' out of stainless steel mesh and my waffle cone holder is a vertical microcoil. I just pulse the coil to warm the cone and load it up with dabs and vape away.
cheap plastic boxes are fun, why not just spend the $20 it costs in parts and use one of the many handy guides available online ( like the one found here http://www.howder.com/dena_howto.pdf ) to DIY?
You wanna know what does work? the sr-71 oil cart for the persei with a m601to510 adapter. Although unless you have a mod that gives more than 15watts power (the provari is not one of them) you'd have to wait for the 3.7v black rod (they estimate it will ship in about 2 weeks). It currently...
If the airflow is too tight to use on glass pieces, when used as a stand alone pen, can someone describe the advantages BHOLT has over other pen vapes in the 'bridgeless atomizer in a ceramic cup' style?
How is the ceramic cup being secured to the 510 connection, does it use epoxy like other...
I remember reading somewhere that you're lungs act like valves, in that whatever allows vapor to pass from your throat to your bloodstream is only being activated during the actual act of inhalation. The minute you stop breathing in and start 'holding it in' the valve has no pressure and closes...

This happened a month ago but is relevant to this discussion, basically all the police chiefs of Canada agree charging people with a criminal offense for possession is stupid, and they want to give a...
Safety first always. Indeed from a cold start sr-71 reads 1.5-1.6ohms, as it reaches operating temperature the resistance changes to 2.6ohms, a behavior I've never observed in any other atomizer (sharply rising resistance). It takes around 20secs to get it warmed up when set to 20watts, If only...
If I go to this handy watts / volts / amps / ohms calc at http://www.rapidtables.com/calc/electric/watt-volt-amp-calculator.htm
I can enter the 2 variables I know, that the SR-71 cart is 2.6ohms (when warm) and that my mod is set to a power of 20 watts. The calc tells me I'm drawing around 3amps...
I understand that manufacturers who sell goods in the US have insurance underwriters who demand such things as collapsible springs and safety fuses to prevent a user blowing his face off. Personally I would prefer the consumer be made aware of the differences. Safe chemistry IMR batteries don't...
My assumption that the switch head is electronic and not mechanical was based on the fact that it can fail, and needs to be replaced, is this incorrect?
I'm not here to say one thing is better than another, I was simply sharing my findings as a person who was interested in using sr-71 cart on...
Persei is not mechanical it has LEDs, and an electronic switch..?
You're right that an unregulated mechanical mod should have a longer vape time than a regulated one, but then you get to deal with voltage drop off, a 1ohm coil doesn't vape the same on a freshly charged 4.2v as it does on a...
Received my SR-71 the other day and also received my 510toM601 adapter. I'm currently using it on a DNA20 mod powered by a single 18650 that has passthrough capabilities using a standard micro usb port. It goes from 7 to 20 watts. I set the mod to 20 watts, from a cold start it reads 1.8 ohms =...
