Yeah, that doesn’t seem right at all.

@seedy53 Those are pretty much the temperatures that I have set mine to.

@gheebee I can't see why that stem would be unsafe to use. It looks like there is a very small gap around the glass screen on some stems and the resin (diluted with ISO) can flow in there. I doubt that you can get enough ISO in there to dissolve it further. More heat will just darken it.

@seedy53 But if the vape is working properly then better insulation should just result in it turning off the heater sooner. It cycles on and off to maintain the set temperature. It sounds like one of them is not sensing the temperature correctly. 20c is a lot! Or maybe the new tubes make the...

After a discussion with Arizer tech support (and it is good tech support!), they think it is probably working OK, just hotter than set. Just to be safe, I am going to send it back to be checked by Arizer. I can't shake the feeling that my V1 unit tasted better.

@kokolokokolokon I am pretty sure that was @TigoleBitties with the higher than expected temperatures. @seedy53 The programming cable sets the target temperature for each level. The unit is off (not heating) when these are set so it can't read the actual temperature produced. But... if the...

The is about what I use (200C for session). It definitely brings the stoney effects. Great with some really good music, whatever that is for you.

A screen will do that, but if you give it a slight tamp you should not have problems. Well, unless your weed is very dry.

You will quickly learn when the screens fall out and you won't lose so many. I had the same problem at first. If you clear out the stem by blowing into it, do so in something that will catch the screen (hint - your hand works). I don't see the value of the back spacers. Just load less weed...

@KindBuddyBud Can you tell us which temperatures this is for? How high is "turn the temp up"?

    Tariffs? Buy stuff now?

How does that have anything to do with the American tariffs?

    Tariffs? Buy stuff now?

Looks like good news for UK customers of US made vapes today!

No, they plug-in. I was told by several people to get a log vape and all I heard was "blah blah log vape blah blah". Then I found a good sale in Canada on the E-Nano NXT so I bought it. It is now one of my favourite vapes, perhaps my favourite. The taste is really good, even compared to the...

Why not get something you don't already have? Do you have a log vape?

Abrasive and gritty, my kind of music! I've never tried just one device and compared it to another. Usually I use 2-3 devices each night, gotta mix things up. But the darker (which I interpret as hotter) I get a strain, the more stoney effect I get.

    Wooden stem holders?

No, I started with two rows on the right and then gradually added pieces as I figured out what I wanted to include and where. Plus some of the layout was just "where can I find space for this?". And the size of the wood dictates some choices. This is only about two months old so I consider it...

    Wooden stem holders?

The type of wood does not matter, nor the shape. I'd pick something visually appealing before I worried about anything else. A drill press keeps the holes straight vertically if that sort of thing bothers you. If you don't have access to one, a guide like this can be used with a hand drill...

The Dead South fan? From my experience, limited as it is, the hotter (visually darker) you get the bud, the more prominent the stoney effect is. And conduction seems to do this more than convection. I have a couple (mostly) pure convection devices and the bud ends up much lighter than the...
