There is no good units! The metal tube in your replacement still has fiberglass inside of it.

By mistake you mean selling a device with a potentially dangerous material leaking into the air path for almost a year? And going through a couple iterations, which all contain that material? And deciding to offer replacement (did this happen at all anyway?) AFTER someone calls them out? And...

There is no “fiberglass free variant”, the supposedly good units just use different form of insulation (the FG is inside a metal tube), and there’s still some fibers visible outside of that tube and close to the air intake.

Can you link/screenshot those? I’ve only seen ones which either have the FG immediately exposed or wrapped up in a bunch of brown tape, not the metal tube like in the post you quote.

Another hurt, former Angus-fan here. Is the AVLP a good device to switch to? I know that a new one is coming, by it will surely be similar to the old one, right? I specifically mean the vapor taste, is it top notch, like from an all-glass device?

There’s another post on r/vaporents about this. Apparently that’s not true, the guy in the NZ post literally broke it apart and normally the fiberglass is completely sealed. Some YLLvape rep said they’re working on contacting retailers to issue a replacement for the first batch of the product...

Has anyone measure/mapped out what do the temperatures translate to in terms of heating time? It could be useful for non-clicking mechanical vapes

I have two of them, they’re 11mm on the dot basically in diameter and 10mm in height. EDIT: sorry, I didn’t click the right link haha, I only have the glass ones and that’s what the measurements are for

No, the bottom metal part is the same diameter as the glass in the widest sections (the cross-like thing), and the lid just has two protruding metal sections (it’s 13mm at the widest). Now, looking at the pictures in the link you posted, it seems like mine don’t have 2 of the metal „tongues”...
