the 5000's are size C batteries. 2700 are the best thing going right now. they have a nice fit in the unit and work well. i have a la crosse bc-700 charger. best value for the money. you don't want a 15 min charger. they will ruin your batteries.

sharp crushers are aluminum. not sure if its paint or what. the metal in the non aluminum chromium is an steel/zinc alloy blend. extra heavy. extra durable. they stay sharp much longer than any aluminum grinder i have owned.

from what i heard [pretty sure i read this here somewhere too.] that the SC Ti is titanium coated. i know for a fact it's not solid titanium and it's not an alloy blend. @Nyc. my 3 inch SC Ti is jet black. you said yours is more gray? any chance you could throw up a comparison pic please? ty :D

yes. those are aluminum chromium crushers. they used to come in colors. can't vouch for the aluminum crushers. but the non-aluminum ones are tough as hell. the teeth on all 3 of my crushers show no signs of wear yet. SC are nice too. i have a 2 pcs 3 inch titanium or black as they are now...

i been using it alot more than i thought i would. thinking about getting the 3inch next. non-aluminum chromium crushers are still my favorite. they stay sharp MUCH longer than aluminum grinders.

i have the whip myself and find it cools the vapor nicely. i think you may be cooking the herb a bit too long. also try turning the load after every hit. works well for me. using it now actually. :ko:
