but could you make it work without a battery at all? like it running via cord only?

in theory, if your Craftys battery dies and the Crafty wont work anymore as a result of this (which i assume is always the case?), could you run you Crafty via connecting it via usb cable to say your Laptop and still run it? and if not, could this be ensured via a workaround?
