The pins extending from the midsection are not glued in. You can take a small pliers and pull the pins out slightly (just enough to reach the springs).

Yes. It took a few tries till I found a “close enough” fit. There’s an o-ring I need to use to make an airtight seal. Lacquered the outside and tried my best to oil the insides, and let reclaim do the rest. Made this specifically for my lotus. Cooler vapor, but sacrificing taste.

615F for wpa use (closed stem airflow). 630F for DTL use (stem airflow open throughout). 660F for concentrates on rayon. Using zirc, airflow on tempest head is half open.

Took this pic in November before a deep clean. The insides of the silicone (that wraps around the oven) was also sticky. Not sure how the oil got there, but my best guess is too large a dab, and/or too strong of an inhale. I’ve been checking occasionally, and since limiting my dabs to rice...

Pivot does well with small dabs. Large dabs leads to more splatter in the mp and possibly oil leaking to the battery. If your dabs are bigger than a rice grain (maybe?) than you might be turned off by all the oil you gotta swab.

I don’t think the pivot is a cart killer. Carts were dead to me long before the pivot launch. True, nothing can compare to the stealth factor of a cart.
