The mini does come with kanthal coils. Kanthal coils are easily replaced with coils of your choosing though.

Is all this information in response to a suggested vvps? I’ve owned a REFC single bay for years, a double bay custom wood from Timberhead for years too. I use my vvps to plug my logs in and vape. Thanks though, maybe all this extra info will be helpful to others.

Uh, was just a suggestion 😂. The modules are $35 apiece, the shell was $30. And I often run two logs at the same time and need more than 12v to run both. And the memory presets for the different logs. Yep a little more expensive. Yep in my opinion worth it.

I’m sure you know this, but if you decide to run it in temp control you will have to switch the stock coils out. The stock kanthal coils run in wattage only, will have to switch them to stainless steel for temp control.
