@started@52 it is something we have had testing internally for quite some time... but, as the device was never designed to be a full time audio player sometimes it can be difficult to get everything to play nice together given the limited resources of an embedded system. So, it is in the list...

@pxl_jockey that item is for people who want to down a deposit on a custom color unit, it shouldn't have been displaying on the site but we have been moving some stuff around and probably goofed.

@started@52 as long as your unit is connected to WiFi, it will check for updates on power on and ask for permission to apply. There is also a menu option to manually check for updates. You do not need to be linked with the dashboard to receive updates.

@rnartian my machinist is currently working on the body extension tubes and an injection mold for the dummy battery, will still be a few weeks before I can get some pricing together.

@JCat if you aren't aware, there have been some pretty cool advancements in the Chrome browser that allow for browser based BLE (and USB). We have been having a lot of fun with it for internal tooling, might want to see if its capable for what you are trying to do...

@PoopMachine the update has been completed by the development team and is just going through some final testing now. I would estimate it should reach the public update servers sometime this weekend. In the meantime, you should be able to remove your device and relink it to resolve the issue...

@MAbud despite my love for all of the additional colors, the demand so far has easily been 95% for black units only. We do allow customers to request custom colors, so technically we could make you a silver unit, but you would have to wait until the next time we do a machining run of the cases...

The price of the MaxVapor Controller has been reduced to $329.

If anyone has a Hopper they want to donate to us, working or not, we could use another backend at least for testing.

@PoopMachine still working on diagnosing your issue, someone should get back with you tomorrow afternoon.

I am not sure if you can set it on the device in the current firmware as I am normally running testing versions on my personal unit, but it would most likely be under the PID settings. If not, you can create a heating profile in the dashboard and then sync it to your unit with the offset.

@started@52 Factory Reset: hold in the Knob / Button for 7 seconds while turning the unit on.

@biohacker one of our engineers developed it as a side project due to not being able to get batteries a few months ago, so he has been using it at least since then as a sole power source.

It will take me a few weeks to figure out what we could produce them for, I will stay in touch.

I would consider doing a small production run of these if there is enough interest. Our current design replaces the original back-end (and battery) completely so there is no pass-thru charging, but it lets you stay powered up at home.

I have a USB-C PD backend replacement kicking around in the workshop, makes for a nice tethered vape but doesn't do much for portability.

@PoopMachine if you have updated to the latest firmware I will check the logs in the morning and see why you are still having an issue.
