    The Nomad From Morwood

Post a pic of your capsule, maybe one of us can identify it. I believe I've read here that both the capsules for the Fury 2, and the POTV ONE fit inside the glass stem, but leave a tiny gap around the side. Someone posted that this gap resulted in less than satisfactory results, but another...

    The Nomad From Morwood

Do you mean you got a wood stem from Alan? RBT stems aren't compatible with the Nomad, it's a different style of stem. The RBT style stems use tapered joints, but Dan has used straight glass tubes in the Nomad. Alan and Ed's TNT have both made wooden stems for the Nomad though. I'm going to turn...

    Discontinued Impcognito

Any chance of a link to the clone? I really like the look, and sound of an Impcognito in that mod, but it's more than I can afford right now. Like you, I'd be up for some DIY though :science:

Multi-brand Planet of the Vapes ONE

The heater will likely reach much higher temp's than the bowl, so it's hard for me to decide which appeals most. It's either very hot kanthal, or less hot (but in direct contact with a lot of herb) aluminum. Neither seems dangerous to me, I just wonder which tastes best (I haven't watched Troy's...

    The Nomad From Morwood

I too went with one from that row! Man, your sleeve is amazing, well done @Dan Morrison  That wood though :o:bowdown: I'm getting desperate to see my Nomad. I know Dan's always :buzz: ing busy behind the scenes, but I still get very jealous every time someone posts about their...

    510 DIY dry herb vape

Yeah, I can see how a large load benefits from temp' control. If your first hit goes a little too hot (sans TC) then the rest of the load will surely have that overcooked flavour. For manually controlled vapes I stick to very small loads (to make the most of that 'first hit' flavour), and if I...

    510 DIY dry herb vape

Nice work PPN  There's something extra satisfying about getting vapour from a home made vape  Love the wood body.

    The Nomad From Morwood

Normally I think I'd say NOOOOO, a scribble doesn't belong on Dan's little masterpiece, and I would definitely say that if you had gone for a custom painted sleeve. But since you have this sleeve, and it already looks like the kanji script (izzat right?) has been hand written, I don't think a...

Dan's Nomad Mockup & Shipping thread

I LIKE that  a LOT, it's gonna be real sweet.

    The Nomad From Morwood

Can't imagine why you'd want a different sleeve mourningbell, as that one is SUPERB! Seriously, that is a freakin' fantastic match to your wood choice (walnut?). I think yours is the first 'matched' collar/body I've seen, and I have to say I really dig it (in both pic's too, if the sleeve...

    The Nomad From Morwood

Apologies for the back-to-back, but I just have to ask who this custom Nomad that Dan posted earlier on IG belongs to? It's truly a thing of beauty: https://www.instagram.com/p/BwFCRcPAueb/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=tc9kxqbbtf3g Can't post a pic here as it's a gif, but take a look...

    DaVinci MIQRO

To be honest I've only ever used the flat mouthpiece a couple of times . I didn't notice any discomfort on those occasions, and I'm pretty sure I took those bowls up to smart-path 3. I doubt I went any higher though so YMMV. I much prefer the extended MP.

    The Nomad From Morwood

I was referring to the wooden rings that fit inside the glass stems. I just called them capsules for want of a better name. Congrat's on your Nomad BTW, I'm glad to hear you like it

Building a refillable pod vape out of titanium

I agree that Ti is a pain to work, but if you have the means to do so then a Ti/glass vape that thickness sounds like it could potentially be very cool. Can you tell us any more about your idea? And welcome to FC by the way

    The Nomad From Morwood

@Aezhenn, I hope to start looking for (or possibly making) a solution for carrying several of Dans loading ring/capsule things, to this end could you please tell me the dimensions of your one? (the ring, that is) Dia' and height would be very helpful, thanks :hmm:. If they work well for me (and...

    DaVinci MIQRO

I have the glove but never need to use it. Be advised that some other owners feel very differently re' this, but even doing back to back level 4 smart-path sessions doesn't get the mIQro painfully hot for me. It does get hot though, and since I generally stick to low/mid temps I rarely find...

    DaVinci MIQRO

Yeah, or at least I do, nearly every time I use the mIQro. Flavour degrades quite a lot after the first session, but no more so than with other vapes.

    DaVinci MIQRO

No worries  For me, the master of truly tiny doses is the Vapcap. The mIQro, even with the pearl fully extended falls some way short of that (admittedly lofty) benchmark (I haven't tried any additional spacers though). It does OK though. I rarely bother trying to load less than a 3/4...
