Discontinued Gn0me - lighter based vaporizers

The closest things to the Gnome seems to be the Vapocane, and showing photos to a 420-friendly glassblower. I can't speak for the vapocane, but I picked up a Firewood 2.1 and it's a nice piece of kit. the gn0me slider is amazing, but it's a little difficult to clean and I don't like using it...

I only have two torches, a Ronson Jetlite and the baby propane tank with the torch nozzle. Far as I'm aware the Jetlite is pretty much the smallest/cheapest butane torch available, and I can get it to heat my Gnome about the same speed as my Propane torch on it's smallest settings. So yeah...

Turned allll the way down, it actually heats slower than my butane torch if I turn it low enough.

Nice! Based on my own experience, I recommend getting a propane torch, one of the self-igniting nozzles that comes with a small tank for 20-$30 at wal-mart and just turning it as low as possible without making the flame go out, it lasts bloody forever. A small butane torch works just dandy...

    Discontinued Dragon Lite Portable

The Gnome Slider is only $35 or so, about the same as what I paid for my crappy Dragon-Lite a while back. Sure you have to get a torch lighter to power it, but you have to get good batteries for the Dragon-Lite so hey. Because of the way the Dragon-Lite's sheath is, the MFLB Power Adapter...

Is there some trick to vaporizing/smoking herbs besides cannabis that I'm not getting? I've tried damiana, passionflower, lion's ear/tail, catnip, tobacco... I'm just not feeling anything. Maybe a little light-headedness with tobacco in the blend when I burn it, and the first and maybe second...

I was quick enough to delete the worse of the two at least... *sigh* even if it got quoted x.x So embarassed. x_x Those "sleeping pills" would be 5 59-ml bottles of 91% alcohol, in the form of various tincture extracts- Peppermint, lemon, orange, anise, etcetera. My favorite is the anise, it...

My only comparison that would be fair for me to do is the standard Lightbulb/crackpipe vape and the dragon-lite, and the classic is miles ahead of either. My only complaint is that you can't really load it up with much, so it's difficult to use it to vape things besides marijuana

On the cone, the heat exchanger is the female joint and the mouthpiece or waterpipe adapter is the male joint that connects to the heat exchanger. The funnel is the opposite- male joint on the heat exchanger, and female joint on the mouthpiece/adapter. The reason you can't connect the heat...

Yes. The waterpipe adapter/mouthpiece is the bowl for the Cone and the Funnel heat exchangers. Sure, you could try to use the heat exchanger with a standard bowl, but good luck getting the air to actually flow through it instead of just coming in around the sides. If you want or need to be...

The cone is the heat exchanger and a dry mouthpiece, not a waterpipe adapter. I imagine you could use the waterpipe adapter as a dry mouthpiece on the other hand, though. Personally, I'd rather have the trident bubbler mentioned (much) earlier in the thread to use with a Classic... though...

Thing is, hasn't gn0me himself posted somewhere in this thread about using the propane torch himself with them? I mean, I assume it's like, turned allll the way down to just having that 1" flame... Ah well. I dun goofed, it is what it is I guess.

But it's so hard to rotate and hold together at the same time and the mouthpiece is just loose enough to be at kind of an angle and sort of rattle around while I'm trying to rotate @_@ And I can't just heat up the heat exchanger first then put it together because the bowl part is in the heat...
