if you can't refill it with a ronson can i think your unit is defective....mine works well with that brand but other cheaper refillers are doing the same spraying everywhere!! Maybe it depends on the little pin shape of the can?

i think this happens with any enclosed bowl vape, if i let my Vapolution with the bowl in it will overcook in a very short time....in my opinion only a heater form above the bowl can avoid this issue. The heat goes up fisically.....they only option is to get off the bowl.

jars are ok but you need more space, if you got a vacuum sealer and thick plastic bag i'd go with those! I just opened a one year old bag and it smells and taste like paradise!
