I would say soot is dangerous as much as for example flint dust. So no big deal, but definitely unwelcome in vaporpath. Torch lighter doesnt damage your VG as long as you dont torch the filter :P Actually, I was using only regular bic light recently, because I experience that the regular flame...

I really consider to buy this Ti screen. But I dont know if it is a good idea. I have no idea if they are durable for a little push to convex shape. Since the smallest one I found is 5/8 inches average and my stainless steel screen is also 5/8 but has to be pushed reducing its size to 4/8 and...
