Does anyone reclaim their stem hash? I just used iso and a qtip to swab the bottom 3/4s of a stem clean (thereby avoiding the part closest to the bowl, which is darker with particulate matter). This is the result... not as golden as it looked in the stem, thats for sure. Bad lighting in the...

Unless you're pretty sure you're going to prefer one style over the other, just get some of both. It's fun to experiment with different load sizes, and each stem setup has its own 'feel', if you will.

Depends on what you're using it for, and everyone's got their preferences. I like the thick silicone stem for direct draws, and the glass stem + thin silicone for vaporbonging (it connects easily to my bubbler). There's a lot of different ways to use it!
