Am I crazy or do the teeth on the outside edge of the lid pull out stems with this thing? When I lift the lid, I'm seeing small stems pushed out to the outer surrounding chamber not falling through to the bowl. Mind=blown!

Are you using restrictor disc? I actually had a harder time controlling heat with the restrictor in believe it or not.

My 3 gets hot enough by the end of a full Budkup to be uncomfortable to hold. I tend to breakup sessions into two and let it cool inbetween. I use the second 380° heat setting.
