My point isnt that they should be manufacturing everything in house. I think I made that clear. My point is that a few pictures of out sourced easy to manufacture parts mean nothing in the grand scheme of if this vaporizer will work or not. I would rather see updates about the good stuff.

The machines enrico shows in his videos could easily create those pieces though.

Not exactly it just takes good CNC machines like the ones that sublimator does have in their shop.

Obviously I know they wont be making their own battery. I was talking about machined parts that really mean nothing in the end game of if the grass hopper will work or not. I dont think its ridiculous to expect them to manufacture at least parts of the vaporizer them selves or to set up some...

Am I not allowed to respond in disagreement to pak? I would sure hope the heater, battery, etc aren't made of outsourced machined parts... but whatever you say.

Anyone can outsource machining work though and thats not what is innovative about the vaporizer. I just figured more of the ground breaking stuff such as insulation, batteries, and the heater would get more updates than a few out sourced machined parts.

Have any of their updates showed anything about the heater or the final battery? Pictures of little machined parts are cool and all but not really important in the grand scheme of things.

I would like to thank you dave for taking care of my last underdog issue quickly and professionally. Definitely one of the best at customer service in the business.

My HI actually took a fall off my desk yesterday, my dog is very clumsy lol, and I think its the prongs you are talking about Alan that loosened up. At first I thought the glass was broken or something but then I realized it was just moving in around a little bit not broken. Im glad to see that...

I cant speak for others but I get just as full extraction with my glass core/hybrid HI as I do from my stainless underdog. HI actually does it at a full less volt than the underdog on the same VVPS.

I can not speak about the SS as I have not tried it but the hybrid/glass core produces massive hits of vapor for me. Even at under 12 volts I am surprised that it is easily milking my bong and getting full dark extraction.

Thank you for the information Stu. I know we havent crossed paths before but I would like to let you know that reading your posts on this forum have helped me gain a lot of knowledge about vaporizers I have been interested in.

Damn I love the HI. I was going to do a comparison of it and the underdog but I no longer feel comfortable doing so as the only differences I can see is that my HI is a glass core and the underdog is a stainless core so I would just be spending the whole time going over glass vs metal really...

My black and white ebony unit should be here tomorrow so im very excited right now. Am I allowed to do a comparison post of the HI and my underdog in this thread later on or should I do it somewhere else?

Its not like a bottle of liquor has "Alcohol" written across it in big bold letters or something. Im failing to see how that edible is any less marked than the bottle of captain Morgan im looking at right now.

I mean it does say it has cannabis in it right on the package and not for children and it does have the little two snakes medical symbol. I find it very far fetched to think that package wouldn't get you stoned.

Any answer on what is causing the fuming yet? The risk of a fuming unit is the only thing keeping me from buying one.

Thank you for your reply. I found some more videos of the glass core in action and im sold. It looks like it can produce the clouds im used to easily. Do the Heast Islands typically run at a lower voltage than underdogs? Do you know if it is possible to use the underdog VVPS with an HI?
