There's a hotspot issue with this vape because they cheaped out on the bowl and screens. And you can't use any other soldering iron other than the one they provide. The tip only fits that model. I'm sure you could find a 220V one on dhgate, but even if you do they don't sell the titanium tip solo.

How do you get amazing flavor with hotspots?

There are already products that are going to hit as hard in this price range and offer a better experience. From the Elev8r (w/ coil/controller) to Sticky Bricks etc. This "cheap heavy hitter" void I keep hearing about doesn't even really exist imo.

Love new vapes that require stoner engineering and mods on day one for issues like hotspots that shouldn't be there out of the box. Especially mods that come from the owners themselves. Probably should have done some actual r&d.

Depends on a lot of things. How are you packing the bowl, what glass you're using, moisture content of your material, your draw speed etc. I use 630F on one of my glass pieces and 666F :rockon: for the other. Never combusted with my Vrod. And how would blowback cause combustion? Are you not...

The people on FC? Maybe. Bunch of stoned beginners attracted to a cheap vape because it hits hard? I wouldn't bet on it.

Cool twist on old tech I guess, but the kit just looks so cheap. And the cord seems so awkward with having to hold the device vertical... Seems like a burn/fire hazard. That thin bowl probably gets super hot also... Wouldn't drop it in a nice glass piece without a huge dropdown or something...

I just grabbed a few 5mm sic pearls from the dnail site because I'm not a fan of spinning carb caps on the dish for various reasons. Works well enough. More carb cap options would be rad though.

The old glass bowl w/ handle is the one that has the screen issues when debowling. I wish the ZC_Glass bowl had a handle, but it doesn't have the screen issues. And the mid section doesn't get hot at all in my experience. It's the far superior of the two options despite having no handle. And...

Ugh, my Mobius showed up with a crack in the downstem, and the inside of the downstem was hella scratched like it had been used with little care. 😭 If it was me I would have never sent out a $500 piece in that condition, but at least they were willing to refund me. And the search continues.

Hey, you guys know any reputable glass dealers that might have a Mobius 50T Stereo Matrix v3 in stock? Been watching the Mobius site like a vulture, but nothing has been added to the shop for months 😭

The top gets hot, but the disc around the middle and bottom stays relatively cool, so that's not really a problem. What sucks and feels extremely awkward is debowling without the handle. I love the new glass bowl, but I have no idea why they didn't go with a handle. shrug

Got the new glass bowl. It fixes the issues I have with the old one, but it not having a handle really kind of sucks. Debowling is a hassle and feels awkward now. If it wasn't for that I'd be all in on it. Probably just going to stick with the titanium bowl.

I just sold that Grav Upline Upright to a friend to help pay for another custom piece 😂 It really is nice though. Super thick glass. Built like a tank.
