My best advice is to take care of it like it's a $300 vape instead of a $30 one. CHECK YOUR LAP BEFORE GETTING UP! Once you get it though you will find how easy it is to want to keep it alive because it functions just so damn well. But it would not be difficult to rig up some sort of silicone...

I find both of my caps on both my OG and TiWoody got discolored rather quickly. However if you use any sort of soot producing flame that will gunk it up and make it appear more black. I would just accept the fact the cap is gonna change color. It grows on you.

I have been using power 5x butane and I bought 2 cans for like 5 bucks at a headshop and I haven't even gone through most of 1 can in over two months of refilling both my torch lighters that I use with vapcap (dual and triple) at least once a day. I have always bled the tanks before refilling...

Yeah I had no doubts that the Vapcap was going to sell out on puffitup... but I purchased mine a month ago, and well....today was the day that the magical usps package, containing a green bubble package, containing a small purple package....arrived! I'm beyond impressed with my blackwood...
