I had cut the Q tip at one point, so if you can picture half a Q tip, bent in half, inside my favorite stem. I didn't want to melt plastic Q tip or break my stem, so yeah, it was a game of poking and trying to keep the Q tip pinched together enough to pull out of the mouthpiece. It was funny...

Today I thought it would be a good idea to bend a plastic Q tip, and insert it inside the mouthpiece part of stem to really get it nice and clean under the rim. Which it did..... and it only took about 20 minutes to figure out a way to get the q tip out.
