People keep trying to spin the 3-4 hour thing but in their own words they said 3 hours of continuous usage. Simply holding the element at vaping temp means you are not using the vaporizer. I dont consider my phone sitting in standby mode to be in use either.

It is really funny how a company that hasnt even released their vaporizer yet is already throwing out stuff about their competition. Still one of my favorite quotes from the campaign is "one of the longest lasting portables available" which just happens to be a complete lie even by their own...

Its getting hot because it must reach vaporization temperatures to vaporize... They also said it would have 3 hours of continuous usage for battery life. You should be able to see why a lot of us here take what grass hopper says with a grain of salt.

It is really easy for people to say if the battery life isnt good enough then dont buy but thousands of people have already put out the money for something that was advertised to do a whole hell of a lot more than 3 sessions.

They do specifically say 3 hours of continuous usage. I dont consider usage to mean just turned to the lowest heat on not using it. They do even lay out a nice "Grass-hopper is one of the longest lasting portable vaporizers available".

Fucking dipped below freezing here in Melbourne Florida tonight. Just realized my new favorite feature of the underdog is being a perfect hand warmer.

And some here will kill that whole battery in one session like I easily see my self being able to do.

The only problem is 10-12 minutes of use time is complete crap.

I wish more companies would do burn offs. It can be quite frustrating to have to spend hours worth of burn off time on a brand new vaporizer before you can use it. Took me two days and multiple hours to get my ascent to burn off and it is supposed to be from after they tried to fix the smell...

The only thing is , and this is their direct words, "We've fit a battery that can provide over 3 hours of continuous usage.". I personally expect the word usage to mean it is in use and not just sitting in a standby mode.

It amazes me that some people are okay with the 3-4 bowls per battery(which is still probably an overstatement of the real performance) when this thing was advertised at 3 HOURS of battery life. Thats missing the mark by a country mile in my opinion.

So still no real shipping date. The amount of trouble these people have had with a charger is just very concerning to me.

For simplicity of use and over all performance that would have to be the underdog for sure for me.

Edit- Not really looking for trades anymore. Will sell for $90 paypal obo. So I have a basically brand new solo I just got as a warranty replacement to my last one. I have only turned it on to test the unit since I got it, no actual vapor usage. I dont really have much use for the solo anymore...

I personally dont get why anyone would buy the crafty over the mighty. Its not much of a discount and you are sacrificing a temp display and extra battery for it. "If you want more battery life just turn your crafty in to an ultra clunky device with an external battery pack"...great idea...or...
