So I almost think I enjoy it more just setting it to max temp, then rolling through crucibles until it stops producing. Takes some finickiness and thought out of it... and you know how hard it’ll hit. Doesn’t hurt that the MV1 is the opposite of anything approaching “harsh”.

If you can still connect to it with Bluetooth, you can try a factory reset from there. Have you tried the "colder" calibration setting?

I definitely get more than that. Even if I’m on a single blinking light, I can just go to max temp for herb and still do OK. Perhaps try manual calibration to give it a bit of a boost?

I'm fairly certain they'll just mail a new one to everyone who bought a MV1 when they're ready (though they may not tell you ahead of time). That's how they handled it when they started polishing the ceramic heatsink inserts.

I’ve never seen the ABV what I would call completely “even”. Now, at the same time, I’ve found that by and large it extracts very well, and while stirring will buy you a couple more hits I think it’s to the point of diminishing returns.

I'm under the impression that there's just a heating coil in a ceramic chamber. They do control power delivery with PWM, hence the "whine" when engaged, and they did adjust the PWM frequency to quiet it down, so I can see confusion coming from that.

I think we can all probably agree that this is not a good look for Boundless. The CFC issues mentioned, while rectified, still happened - which I think in this case is probably a valid point to bring up. After all, this is stuff people are potentially inhaling, and that's not cool. I'm hoping...

For me I even think it’s easier with a fine grind that’s tamped down. I sometimes have trouble regulating my draw technique with so little draw resistance. Tamping it down and more or less ripping has worked well for me.

I have the MV1, a Solo 2, FF2, and Pax 2.

This has almost turned into my daily driver. It's the hardest hitting of anything I have. I'm not finding it to be incredibly picky about grind, or dryness, to be honest. A lot of the inconsistency I saw early on went away after I started tamping the herb down a bit.

Wonder when retailers will start carrying it? Then we can get our coupon game on.
