I ran the ZX on a 10" straight tube and it was fine. However, I am mostly using a 50 ml globe with it now.

Most used and enjoyed, Phase3 ZX, it's clean, predictable, and very adaptable. Second place, an LSV, it has all the nice bits I like about rod heater vapes scaled to a size I enjoy. This week I am dialing in the TRWW 14 mm Quartz Cap, lots of fun and educational. It's a great time to be a vape user.

My ZX bowl works well with almost all of my 14 mm female and male adapters and glass pieces.

Knowing what I like and how to get it out of my ballers, I use ruby balls. I tried boro, ss, zirc, quartz, etc. but always returned to rubies. Even my Zirconia Phase3, ZX baller uses rubies. In the end, it's really about your preferences, so give them all a try.

My favorite vape for taste is the Phase3 ZX with their zircon bowl. Clean, reproducible results, and when paired with a decent PID it can produce tasty one hitters all day long.

Currently, going solo with a baller, I am usually looking for one or three hits from a .05 g bowl cooked somewhere between 425 f to 435 f.

Different vapes, different dose sizes. I was using a Cloud Connoisseur Omega for a few weeks, and my daily dose crept up to .3 g because with my Omega, that was where the fun was. Feeling a little overloaded, I switched to a Phase3, ZX and in a few days I was back to my usual .1 g daily intake...

Best tasting, at the moment, a Phase3 ZX. Clean, efficient and there is no shortage of information available online, or on this forum.

Me too, I use a 7/16” OD with 1/16” wall thickness silicone whip, which works well for less restrictive whips. If one makes an angular cut at the end of the whip, it can be pressed fitted into a 14 mm female socket without an adapter, and it will still seal well with less restriction. Bonuses...
