Ethanol has an advantage in waste disposal..... I'm told enough reclaim stops hangovers? If you don't drink, denatured Ethanol (like from the paint department) does the same for less money. For wiping, ISO makes sense to me since it evaporates slower. But in general I try to avoid the whole...

No, and neither should you. It's evaporating is exactly the issue in some cases, breathing the vapor is an uptake route. You normally make small amounts of the stuff, anyway, which is already tough on liver (and IIRC kidneys?). And it's a serious fire hazard. "Fire in the paint locker" kind...

Not so your liver, it's pretty rough on it. Many of us recommend Single Malt for assaults on the liver..... IMO, while Acetone is a useful solvent, best left in the can unless absolutely necessary. Here it's not. I sure would not recommend buying a can, using a few tablespoons and having the...

Need a Backup to the Arizer Solo

You have to open a (free) account, I use Imgur.com, and upload the photos there (drag and drop into the page). Then go to that photo, cut and paste the "Forum" link they provide into your post here. Of course it's confusing, how else are we going to keep the riff raff out? Others hosting...

Need a Backup to the Arizer Solo

Great choice with Solo. As a backup, I suggest something different and fun to use in it's own right. So you'll use it from time to time anyway? Magic Flight Launch Box, one of the Vapor Genies (I'd avoid the bats and coil right off) and a personal favorite, Vapman come to mind. All known...

Fun gadget. I agree, don't purge every time. That definitely goes against normal 'bottled gas' practice. Never take a gas system to zero pressure without a solid reason if you care about contamination. Same goes for vacuum systems (never let them 'up to air' without a reason), for the same...

You mean like a Solo stem? They work just fine here too. Planet Vape has the turbo as well. Some Solo guys like the GonG version turbo and hit it dry, too hardcore for me. OF

I understand in a couple of states you can now get married. And then get Federal benefits....... Sorry it's not better law wise (hopefully that will improve as the idea catches on), but sounds like you've got a support structure to envy. Regards, OF

Definitely not my sort of friends. I'm sorry you don't like Solo, it seems to please lots of folks. Lots of other choices, better luck next time. OF

Only thing in there is a fuse, unscrew the knurled ring that holds the spring loaded plunger on the tip in, there's a fuse under it. OF

With ya there, coach! Due to the way airflow works a whole lot more than 'what's missing in the hole' went through it. Our bodies are set up to deal with a little bit of debris, but that's spooky to me. At the very least I'd be trying something like a tuft of cotton to try to trap more and...

Sorry, right photo, wrong message: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/the-arizer-air.16415/page-38#post-701763 PM me and I'll mail you the tubing (if you're in the US). No luck with a replacement without buying a new stem, at least yet. Elsewhere I posted about an aborted plan to slit a short...

    The Arizer Air

It's not really a filter, unless you've got small rocks or something in your vapor, it's a seal or gasket depending on what you want to call it I guess? I found that without it (I lost one washing it, in less than an hour) the MP leaked air through the threads. So I made a replacement from...

Not particularly. And I bet their sales numbers reflect it? I think they made a conscious decision to keep a low profile (what with pretending it's for aroma therapy and all), I bet their lawyers advise against big public efforts? Many vape companies share this I think. As to the LHS guy...

Yes, I have, it is a film, I reported it in this thread earlier on, and have removed the film. You'll also find similar film on the bottom....... I got it (carefully) with an Exacto knife blade in the upper right corner. The film goes around the switch all the way to the bottom of that small...

Sounds like an excellent match. I assume you're using a short hose to connect the two? Perhaps some clever soul should make a pretty base to hold the Solo and Orbiter both? Several of the usual suspects come to mind........ OF

Wow! Most cool. Kudos to the new owner. Care to tell us where it is? It's a long shot, of course, but if such a shop was near me I'd sure like to know about it. Good place to 'vote with your wallet', we need more such shops and less of the other kind (but they are, of course, better than...

http://www.planetvape.ca/travel-tube.html I sure hope nobody takes that "doesn't smell at all (sic)" at face value. I'm sure you're not ready, for instance, to go to jail for the guy following that advice the dogs might catch at the airport? The risk may be much smaller, but it's real. IMO...

Ink or paint are your only two options here, glass doesn't burn (it's already as oxidized as it'll get) it just melts. And the cutting process itself is cold relative to that. It has to be on the surface. My guess is it's a Sharpie line, very tough ink. You might try a 'dry erase' marker...

Excellent point. Sometimes politics is in play too. If it's the boss' son or daughter for instance? I once quit a job largely because the old man couldn't/wouldn't rein in his new (much younger Chinese) wife from wondering out into production and test and ranting '"this company would make...
