OK, thanks, we know the instructions were out of date. But Arizer CS didn't say "Plug in the Solo and charge up completely. Do not use it while its charging. Charge while vaping is not available on the new units as it was a manufacturing oversight and it was not meant to be there." Thanks...

    Arizer Solo

Yes, that's what I'm saying, or was trying to say. The old models recognized 6.9 to 9.0 Volts and shifted modes (starts automatically for instance) and would not charge but would heat (off the PA). If you plug such a unit into 12 Volts while it's running on batteries, it stops heating and...

    The Arizer Air

Actually no it doesn't. It says " Used twice. Vaporizer is in excellent like new condition." HUGE difference. No way it could be a vendor yet, right? Not released until sometime next year, Arizer is the only current source? IMO this is a private party, who for whatever reason is looking to...

    The Arizer Air

A week or so back I posted getting such a glass stem instead of the longer plastic top version, I believe the first such report? It was my second Air, a gift for the Brother in Law. No straight Solo stem like the first one. My guess then was it was the new configuration, AFAIK it still is the...

    The Arizer Air

Interesting video, lots of choppy editing of the sort we seldom see. Lots of 'model poses' which is OK I guess if the content is there? I take some exceptions to "smoke cartridges", all the "buttons" not on mine (like the one on the back where you plug the charger in, or the green one on the...

It's also a fashion statement of a sort.....or maybe 'rite of passage' is closer? As far as more vapor clouds, you sure couldn't prove it by me. I tend to sip on a load until it's spent, and while I can see how a guy might get less I sure can't see how he could get more. In actual practice...

    The Arizer Air

This is a fairly common complaint. But 'Stones just told it true. The restriction is there on purpose, after a lot or trial and error and testing, at what the maker termed 'the optimum' restriction. He surely knows how to reduce restriction, but designed that particular amount in. There is a...

    Arizer Solo

Finally, I'm innocent! That was part of the Solo lore when I joined the party (thanks again Dreamer, wherever you may be.....). Like so many other such things, folks are very open with their ideas and opinions and are willing to try suggestions. The good suggestions keep getting repeated in a...

Have fun, but I'd give some thought to the paint. Latex and acrylics are out I think? OTOH 'Hot Rod' paints (like you'd use on car engines) should be OK. The normal 'go to' BBQ paint is obviously not going to work. I've filled regular engraving before, it's pretty easy. It's thick, you wipe...

I'm not so sure that's the case? Doesn't the laser burn (even more) to make the engraving? No 'raw' (not charred) wood showing, only charcoal? No contrast. There would still be texture of course. Another idea might be to fill the engraving? That is wipe some high temperature enamel into...

    Arizer Solo

Maybe you should leave some here for testing. You never know, it might be better than the stuff Ataxian throws in the trash? It's a safety, in case you get distracted...... It should be good for as long as you are. If it gets too hot, there's a thermal shutoff inside, but I don't recall...

    The Arizer Air

Sure thing. Forget solvents, the best they can do is dilute the junk, and then redeposit it when they evaporate off. You need to rinse with fresh solvent, probably a few times. Or use detergent, which will rinse free in tap water. This is, IMO, the hands down winner...

    Arizer Solo

Slide your warrant in under the door......... Howdy, welcome to the Forum. Good call with the Solo, but I guess you already knew that? You're definitely welcome for all the lame advice you can find around here, trying to help the new guys along is a mental aberration 'not uncommon' around...

That's the usual practice, though some use cotton. Keep plenty under it until you know how much it's going to melt. Yer welcome, good luck. OF

    The Arizer Air

Bummer, but kind of to be expected IMO. Time to enjoy the Air and not worry? If it acts up function wise, send it in. It still looks to me like something took a ding out of the board just inside the 'track' of the spring loaded contact? Where does the contact 'land' relative to that spot...

    The Arizer Air

It should not normally be a problem. MFLB is because we cut the insulating jacket off so 'dangerous contact points' are a few mm apart. With the jacket intact, that becomes 'end to end'. There are plastic battery boxes for 18650s around, but as long as you don't throw it into a pocket...

Outstanding. Thanks for the feedback. I too used a fresh cap, I didn't even think about a stretched out one not gripping the tube well, I'll know to avoid it. I figure you've also discovered it's really easy to poke it on (and have it stay) and pinching the cap to flatten it out a bit makes...

Arizer Air or Airzer Solo vs Pinnacle Pro

I have all three as well, and think they're telling it straight. If small is worth the extra bucks (about twice at present), go with Air. Otherwise, Solo. Pinnacle is in a different (lower, IMO) class. Once you taste Solo or Air, the Pinnacle is going to start getting lonely. OF
