Did you see @lazylathe Roor piece? It probably uses about as little water as anything. That narrow can = very minimal water.

Yes, the mass of the bowl sits on the stem so the joint doesn't expand under temperature. And the new bowls have a groove for the flowerpot head to sit on so it's not using the handle as a bump stop. Not sure if your bowl has a handle or if you are using a stubby?

Take some or all of your live resin, put it in a glass jar, and stick under a lamp for a few minutes. This will purge off some of the more harsh volatile terpenes and make it more tolerable.
