The Lady is exactly right on both counts. That makes her 200% right.......I wouldn't argue with that..... OF

I'm with Pipes here, sounds like battery to me as well. Erratic (but different) operation when plugged in is not a good sign. Since the battery is only warrantied for a year, you might end up paying for the replacement? You might want to be sure you understand what happens if that's the case...

    The Arizer Air

This is what I'm using: http://www.puffitup.com/Arizer-Solo-Vaporizer-case-p/solovatracase.htm Since it's designed for Solo, it's the right length, with Air being smaller there's plenty of room for stash and a spare battery. Lots of padding but still compact. OF

I think a lot of that drop off might be due to the battery being cold. Have you tried keeping it warm (say under your coat) until just before hitting it? OF

Yes, many have. Turn it on, then hold the up button down for about 4 seconds to turn it on and off. OF Edit: I shoulda known better than to try to beat the Lady. Even if I spelled everything right the firs time.

Good plan, IMO. Another option on the theme would be butter. Yummy on toast and so good for you...... OF

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

I agree. Due to the way it works (conducting heat through the side walls) it doesn't lend itself to reduced loads. You need enough density so the heat will conduct through the load (light packing at least) and packing a partial fill down is a loser as well since this decreases the wall in...

Or wonder over to the Persei thread and try to follow through the whiling and gnashing of teeth over the serial, near endless delays. Including customs sending the whole lot back a time or two. It's not here until it's here......and not really here until it's in your hands. OF

Thanks for the additional information. I guess I wouldn't worry about that. "Only real diamonds scratch glass" not withstanding the glass is harder than most steels (the coil is most likely very soft for easy forming). What I would expect, at worst, is some steel scuffing off and leaving dark...

Interesting, why is that? Which do you think will damage which? TIA If this is an issue due to value of the glass or something, why not use a cheap adapter or spacer between? OF

    Discontinued Thermovape Cera

'Trying to melt it down' won't cut it. It has to be absorbed. How was it stored? Was it clean or with very clean concentrate? I'd start by cleaning it. Until you get that changed to 'half a gram absorbed into the core' you're not going to succeed. The top surface of the plate just doesn't...

No, not tea. And you have to be careful what hot chocolate you use, you need milk FAT in the game. At least Whole milk. A shot or two of cream added makes it even better. The good stuff binds to the fat, otherwise you're caught in that 'oil and water don't mix' thing. OF

No , and no. The first is based on my memory of what's been posted here. The second is my opinion. Given the right tools and materials there are a few guys with training and experiece that could but most of us lack those 3 things. Once you have the wire and ceramic in hands you can give it a...

Yes, it can. It's the "Slow controlled" part that gets guys into disappointing areas I think. They seem to think that by attacking restrictions they can beat the slow part and get Huge Clouds (their Holy Grail) in a big old hurry. IMO that's not going to happen. I think this stems from...

Ignoring for the moment that there is no such thing as "the exact same model number" (since that's not a model number to start with....), I'm struck that Arizer refused to service it? You offered to mail it to them (at your expense, as the warranty agreement says) and they refused to look at...

Amen. I think many are wishing for something more 'bong like'??? It does a great job at what it's designed to do IMO, but that little heater can only make vapor so fast. OF

I wouldn't let the guys manning that ship hear you call it a boat if I were you......lest your container mysteriously go swimming some dark night...... They tend to think boats are small enough to fit on the decks of real ships and have since they were made of oak. Here's a fun piece of...

That's the typical protective case for end mill bits. Machine shop stuff, like short drills with flat ends, sharp as can be and a bit brittle. To protect fingers from the tool and the tool from the floor. Machinists collect them since they outlast the tools inside. OF

Yep. Just not sure what I think about it yet..... I think I'm with CK right now, very nice but works best slowed down from stock stems? Don't rush the vapor, give it more time than normal to recover between hits. I don't think it's the answer to cloud chaser's prayers. OF
