Do not mess with lifting and lowering element any more. Practice with heat turned to 3 pm on that dial... and adjust draw speed.

I use the same adapter on the bong side of the tube.... I use SSV tube, and found that I did not need anything but the tube itself forced down onto the Easy valve. On occasion it begins to slip.. that is from oils that are warm lubricating the area. I clean out the first 1/2 inch of the tube...
