My concern with silicone being a key part of the vapor path is it will collect a lot of reclaim condensate, so how do you clean it without promoting further break down of the silicone? Solvents and terps hate silicone.

It's too bad these aren't alumina ceramic inserts because that would be so bitchin fuckin rad! I think if the Showerhead/Wraparound hybrid is still going to use an INSERT for concentrates, I'd rather just have this trough style insert that works with what I already have.

Yes surface area helps to a degree in allowing lower temperatures to be used to vaporize the extract. Have you tried incorporating your mesh heaters around a quartz cup?

My experience with mesh pads in a concentrate application is they taste like reclaim. What you want is a sealed floor crucible cup that is heated from the bottom AND sides, can operate flawlessly in temp control mode, and cab be swabbed clean after a session.

    VapCap, My Experience

FYI most of those cartridges are the lowest quality cannabis extracts available. Especially in California. Last year over 80% of cannabis products failed for residual pesticides, mostly the prefilled cartridges and edibles.

Well uncooked is going to have terpene modulation from the essential oils, cooked is going to have the potency from that decarboxylation, the activation of THC from THCA.

I'm far from an expert, but to add a bit more, traditional hashish is essentially either sifted from dried plants (Morocco, Lebananon, Afghanistan) or hand rubbed from living plants (Nepal, India, Jamaica) Afghani style hash is heated and manipulated like making taffy. I don't really have any...

Pressing the kief is what turns it into hash. At least one of the main varieties of hash. The other being handrubbed charas.

How would you get the glass or quartz to heat in an electromagnetic induction scenario? BTW if extract can drip right through the ceramic pad that suggests it is too porous. I always thought my S&B mesh pads were too porous too. This threads getting me pretty

    The Plug-In Supreme Vaporizer

Sounds like the MFG needs to do a few dry runs for quality control before sending units out the door.
