I've got a question about this so called stainless steel turkey baster that I got at BB&B. it worked great, but after using it I discovered that there is NO WAY that it is SS. It doesn't attract to magnets.

i load the chamber then let it heat up for 3 or 4 cycles. you may also be loading too much. If i only 1/3 fill the chamber, i get about 4 long pulls. (wait at least 2 cycles between) there is also herb quality and herb moisture the think about.

i like the idea of hitting the bag through a GonG. the vapor starts to cool in the bag and finishes in the GonG, and the moisture content the GonG adds to the vapor stream is soothing.

yes, but its still "dry". I often use my IO through water and that is a vast improvement.

with the volcano, i filter through activated carbon. I know that some on this board think this will weaken the vapor, but i disagree.

I have that thing and its not as bad as you think. That being said, I almost never use it.

i did a test with the IO, in a closed box with a CO detector. When it started from cold it triggered the sensor, but if i put it in the box after the first heat-up, it didn't seem to produce any CO. after about an hour running in a closed box, there was water moisture on the inside of the box.

I don't have a camera here to show the improvements i've made to the herb chamber. (after i took those pictures) i added a clean air tube directly into the chamber

my friend is waiting for stuff ordered also. and i want to get the rollie J-adapter to use with my iolite, but where can i get it?

it can't keep up with use, the first 2 long slow pulls are cool, by then the "coolers" are too hot.

i usually let the herb chamber warm up by letting it sit on the hot volcano with the bag on it, limp. if its not hot enough before the fan goes on, the "pollen" blows up through the screen and sticks to the inside of the bag.

really, i've never put the fan on before the bag was attached.

i don't like the 2pc metal grinders. it could by my fat fingers, but i have trouble using them.

i saw that earlier in this thread. that may work out. the one i made is SS with fins all around it.
