I swear by 7th floor LLC whips, for longevity, and unlike silicone tubing the surface does not allow tackiness to bleed through to the outside.

LSV HC is same exact proportions... all 7th floor stuff is, except the LSV HC is not bent like the SSV HC. The transfer wand is the same in both set-ups. YES... one you must stand over, but the other you do not. It is sturdier and thicker glass that does not break easily.
