DHGate have some decent options. I bought yingmin5's 3d stem for the glow and it's pretty thick glass. Also you can find long and short dimpled stems out there. Not so sure about ball-filed ones.

You can try searching for cheap RDAs and use their deck. It's not as simple as it used to be back then when fasttech was online, but it's still doable at AliExpress and such. Not sure what diameter you need tho

Try to turn the device on (either the v3 nano or the pro, but use max temp on the v3p), cover one airhole and blow into the other one. I'm doubt that it's related to the kanthal coil though, but it help to burn off effectively. I think you should leave the mouthpiece on so hot air will pass...
