i must say the herc has made my love for w9 grow each time it fires up im trying very hard not to order more than i can afford but its so tempting i love the idea of an ss kit core and nibbler but damn thats expencive lol and im afraid of the nibbler breaking
I went 4 years without medicating before I jumped into the vape pen world I spend the last year of those 4 reading this and many other forums to make sure I bought the most reliable vape and while I can't believe the insane amount of bad luck you've had I'm confident the herc will make you a...
Honestly I think a lot of the issues could have been avoided by buying the newer units that are currently available instead of buying from eBay I mean no disrespect but you could still end up frying a v1 top running a herc on it if there's a short I started with an ophos and made my own mistakes...
theres no reason to act like a bully everyones welcome to their opinion and theres no need to attack anyone based on theirs i was simply trying to determine why he was having such a bad taste when i know the EO carts ive had have tasted good and his experience is far off from my own with those...
if i had to guess id say your probably using some of the very old EO carts that needed to be oxidised before use and had reports of bad taste due to the maufacturing process if yhou didnt oxidise them ive bought a bunch of 2.4 ohm carts meant to be used on 3.7v ran several grams through em on...
If your hercules has the standard white rod that's why it's. Having problems the white rod is meant to be run by 2x AW18350's resulting in a 7.4v high drain setup
The older oil carts can hold up to 1g and last a long time but every do often need to be reprimed to provide good vapor the herc is absolutely the best but to find one now you may need to check vaporqarehouse or other sites instead of direct from w9 or you could order a couple of the older oil...
To power the herc the bare minimum is 2 AW brand 18350 imr batteries the best possible solution is 4x AW imr 18350's and the core. 4 aw's so you always have a backup when you need to be portable and the core for the best consistent power and the ability to dial down the voltage for better taste...
The difference is in the protection the newer versions are less likely to burn out
Also I'm not sure but I think the v1 didn't have the 5click on/off feature to lock/unlock the button so they might accidentally fire in a pocket
Thermovape are no longer operating they shut down yesterday I believe so anything you may find on eBay would have no warranty and would be useless once it needs rebuilding as they are not user serviceable
I got a strange email today from the w9 webpage asking me to answer a question someone posted in the "okeanos upgrade preorder" I recently purchased then showed me a question about the herc working on a vamo this is odd to me as I never preordered the okeanos upgrade as I do not own an okeanos...
I'd pull out both pins compare the differences if there aren't any differences I'd assume it was the where they fit in that was erroneous and check both carts for differences then find a way to make the faulty one match the good one
Your images won't load on my phone but is there any way you could grind a flat spot or air channel into the firing pin with a dremel without making it unable to be put back in?
I was wondering if curves in the ceramic rods were a problem as well the rod for my herc is slightly curved and it appears to function properly but my areas still dry of wax and I haven't had time to make my own so I haven't really tested it yet
