Winterizing does ruin the taste from what I've done so far, but I'm willing to do that in the name of purity. Soon when the dispensaries pop up here I imagine I'll be hunting around for CO2 oil whenever I can. I'm all about the purity.
I'd do at least 20 minutes hot water purge. If you have an electric griddle even better since you can adjust the temp. You can get them at walmart for like $20ish.
I'd say after the 20 min hot water purge you should be good to bring it inside.
How to purge is a VERY debated topic...
Personally I wouldn't risk it in a garage. Blast outside, then you can evap the rest inside AFTER doing a hot water bath to remove the majority of butane.
The liquidizer is the only reason I ever started messing with butane. If it wasn't for the simple all in one kit I'd have never gotten away from everclear/iso washing.
I like not having to stand there and hold the can and breathe in all the gasses.
I do use the liquidizer, I just don't mix anything into my BHO or use their pen made for PG BHO mix.
I love the liquidizer setup. Spray and walk away.
No idea what my yields are since I don't really weigh before or after since its all for personal use.
No more persei for me. Strangely enough I got the persei just for the bender bud attachment. Sold the persei before I ever had any source of oil. I still don't have that much access to it, but I can get it when I want. Just not 100% convinced that anyone else's BHO is as clean as I'd like.
I've never had anything clog besides the mouthpiece when I over loaded it and made a mess. Just blew through the mouth piece and it cleared. Never had the actual cart clog.
We have the same laws here, only dispensaries can grow, but on the plus side the law states that ALL cannabis and...
Personally I don't use PG. I simply love the kit though. About 1/4 at a time, UNATTENDED super fast tool for outdoor runs. I winterize after and use it in the cera. Sometimes I don't even winterize I just "wash" it in everclear and then I let it evap naturally and finally heat purge...
Smaller runs than an oz when practicing IMO. I prefer using a tube that holds ~7 grams. The liquidizer kit is what I use. I just feel like I'd rather do 4 runs per oz since then if anything goes wrong I'm just losing 1/4 rather than a full oz.
So far so good, but I still prefer working...
I'll be using my evo with my "bent glass" mobius matrix clone. It's not as fancy as a mobius, and I always want to get the name brand, but its what I've got to work with for now, and it works surprisingly well.
Bob don't bother with an amp. I was so surprised at how good the amp settings and emulation was with rocksmith! I don't think I'd bother getting an amp at this point unless I was going to be playing gigs or something.
Got a TV/PC with rocksmith? Its like you've got a hundred amps in one...
I took half hour lessons 1x a week for 4 years. I never got good because I never practiced.
I played rocksmith for about a month, after a few years of not picking up a guitar, and felt like I got more out of it than I did years of lessons. IMO making it a game like that with numerical...
