Silicone is better than vinyl IMO. Afaik, it us heat resistant to a higher temp and also preserves the vapor flavor better

ohhh, i just thought of something else. The VHW retains heat better than a lot of other vaporizers so the general rule of hitting it slower to get thicker hits seems to be the inverse with the VHW. Try taking powerful hits and see if this thickens things up
