According to OF experiment's, the spent load should be brown and not yellow. I'm guessing you have done everything by the book, including a long, slow draw or alternate breathing between mouth and nose to raise temps? If a Solo loaded stem leaves you medicated, a Cera load should do the same...

What is the width of the straw and of the chamber? With the original DaVinci, the bowl was too rectangular and long for the width it had IMO, which led to a bit of conduction by the bowl walls when it was idle, resulting in quick flavour loss.
