My brush stays pretty clean, presumably because I'm only removing ABV dust from the ELB. So my thought is that a little detergent like Dawn is sufficient to lift the dust and any minute remnants of oil in it. Boiling water or alcohol may break down the fine synthetic bristles. :2c:
I think I may have the same brushes or very similar. What I'm gonna try . . . warm water into a small glass with a drop of dish detergent, swish the bristle around briskly in the solution, rinse with lukewarm water, air dry standing on end.
My sense is that using the fan with the whip is uncommon; most use a passive draw and IME the fan doesn't really add if taking big hits. But some do use the fan/whip combo. Personally I used the fan/whip for a time, when I needed to baby my lungs; I just let the fan push the vapor thru the...
Yes. I'm pretty sure I recall posts a long time back about using the SSV tubing. While the Q's tubing is 5/16" ID, the SSV uses 3/8". But because it is silicone it has sufficient elasticity to apparently work fine. You can also get tubing from some of the online vape stores, like this...
You mean this?

A post script . . . got some White Rhino last week and rather than my usual ~.25g ELB that I spread thru the evening I used two .1g ELB's. It may only be in my head, but it sure seems that smaller...
The two sources posted a number of times in this thread are U.S. Plastics and Amazon, both online (the links are easy to find with a Search). I've looked at the major retailers (HD, ACE, etc.) and never found silicone - only pvc, vinyl, rubber, and latex. I suspect you would need to go to an...
The warranty is honored when purchased through an authorized distributor or retailer, and IIRC there have been instances where warranty service has been provided even if not done so. I would contact Keith or Steve at Arizer (service@arizer.com) and tell them your problem (and serial number)...
There is a lot of discussion (and some pics) earlier in this thread that addresses your questions (the subject has come up several times, so there are posts spread thru the thread). And IIRC the Pelican site shows how to use the cut-out foam, costs.
Btw, a comparable, some say superior...
I was at Ace Hardware today buying some corks and was surprised that they sell very small ones - small enough to fit into the glass piece. I had to laugh, as the question of what to use for a stopper has been asked repeatedly and this solution - or yours - is a simple one. I really liked your...
Also, what is being announced is the Cloud "Plus", it is not Cloud 2.0. That is, this is not a new generation machine, it's the same Cloud with a number of refinements and enhancements.
It is. Or at least, supposed to be.
Prolly (hopefully) not a lot of impact though, seeing that FC represents a small (albeit quite vocal) percentage of Cloud owners.
Thx for the info, BDV. My new Clear takes 5 oz water to, er, clear the matrix (I was surprised, but it doesn't seem to create any drag). I wonder if that orig larger perc required more water, and with it, drag?
Well hell, I replied to the CL ad with an email asking for more info. Looks to me like the seller pulled pics off the web w/o realizing one is an Ion and the other a Clear. That's not an easy mistake to make, but then again who sells "flawless" Mobius for only $200? I also asked about the...
I don't think I follow exactly the setup, but I can say that this piece will not fit down over the Q's heater cover - the "handle" in the center obstructs it clearing through the top bezel. And where does the screen go to prevent material dropping down into the unit?
EDIT: Another alternative...
The seller is vaporstore. Pretty sure it's the same as here, presumably one of VXL's new distributors . . .

IME at least notifications and the like are not very reliable. I had to stay on top of it searching for a couple weeks straight before a couple finally popped up.
I'm prolly gonna be sorry, but what the hell . . .
Clarity about the 2% figure: That is a long-standing commercial electronics industry target for warranty cost as a percent of cost-of-goods-sold. Premium companies have a lower rate; those monies are reinvested or reflected in price and...
