@akwardsauce: I definitely get a build up under the screen. If you crank up the heat and draw through the empty wand (extra hard to make up for the extra heat) you'll both get an impressive wand hash hit and clean your screen at the same time. Just scrape the screen with the pick afterwards and...

I've never smelled anything from my DBV unless I pulled the dreaded blow-back. You mention that the smell is pretty much gone, maybe it was just something that got on the shim while it was off. Did the smell return? I don't have an extra shim on mine, just the sleeve.

I noticed this also. If you look inside the wood piece where the glass goes in there is a groove with what looks like glue in it. I'm thinking I can make that groove a little deeper and put an o-ring in there.

That BB lock is standard on the new model. I almost always let a few wisps of vapor escape my nostrils, it's a comfort after so many years of combusting. I suppose one could plug one's nose to prevent this, but that would probably take some enjoyment out of the whole Magic Flight experience...

Look for 91%, it's worth the extra buck or two. and @ slvelocity, sounds you want a good wand vape, DBV, SSV or Vapor Brothers. Do some research... But if you practice with the MFLB you can wind up with a hit that will grab you by the short curly ones....!!!
