HIGHLY reccomend at least a smart 20w, it really brings it to life. I have tried many batteries with this but that battery is nuts for the money, they are like $15ish online.

yes they are ceramic rod coils, the cap goes over the coils and screw on. It helps hide what you load a bit and from oil splatter, but you will still get residue on the glass from the vapor itself. also the key to a real good hit is to pull on it real slow, and you get a cool thick vapor...
