@icemeltman - A small note of clarification, the above silicone tubing is the same size as the Q's stock pvc. The tubing SSV sells for the wand is 1/16" larger. But the elasticity of this tubing enables it to work with both the Arizer or SSV pieces.

I'm not sure what @DDave ended up with, i.e., whether after adding the SSV wand (later) eliminated the need for the adapter screen. I have a friend who is using the adapter with the Q elbow/screen (the first gen of this mod) but not the wand, and it is working great for him.

Showercap = less diffusion, more flavor. Circ/Tree more diffusion, about the same as each other, less flavor than the showercap; and, the action is a bit different with the circ a tad more chuggy and the tree a tad more fizzy.
