It looks more like resin stains , rather than scratches . Resin stains can be cleaned . I use a lightly soak iso/qtip and old fine screen . Insert the screen in the oven first , then the iso/qtip . Do a swirling/mopping motion on the screen . It works like a charm .

I would say , yes , lots more goodies left to be extracted . Go up to 3 and 4 . I do 5 and 6 dry . Level 7 thru water gear , or it's a little harsh for me . But try it for yourself , to each his own .

You'll want the herbs to be closer to the heat source , I would think . You can insert a dome screen backwards to take up space or order the Shorty stems from PV . They hold less weed in the stem bowls .Or maybe insert the glass screens in the stems first , then herbs .

Just to offer another perspective , I've never followed that recharging routine . For convenience , it has always charged full over night , as I slept . And I know it's been fully charged beyond a few hours . My M107 is still going strong after 2 1/2 yrs . Albeit , It's been reduced to 2 hours...
