you are being misled, or mistaken about batteries and the LB.

recommended cleaning of teh screen is detailed in the vaporpedia. i believe that it clals for leaving the battery in for 30-45 seconds and letting the material burn off the screen. Check in the vaporpedia for more accurate, detailed instructions.

the power adapter has gotten great reviews from the people that have it. It really depends how you use your launch box, and what other vapes you have, if any. For me though, it isnt a good fit. i have a myrtlezap and Magickwand for home use so to spend 60$ on an adapter to use my LB at home...

effeciency is different for everyone. it used to be my #1 concern when buying a vaporizer. Since getting my magickwand and using it once, I see why many people like the variable vapes for thorough vaping. Getting the most out of a load is nice. And if you enjoy using the unit, who cares...

ive experimented with rinsing and not rinsing and noticed no noticeable differences. goes to show trhat both work, though.

itll all dissolve. i let mine soak overnight, then let them dry for a while. all of the other methods you are currently using look like they could hurt your long term zap experience.

you should soak your stems regularly for cleaning. The screen gets clogged and material and gunk builds up on the bowl itself. an overnight soak will do them wonders. im talking about alcohol of course. I use Isopropyl, some use drinkable alcohols...151 or grain alcohol.
