Nice choice! I started with the DV also. I wanted the Fierce but went with the F2 instead. I love my little F2 but I wish I would have sprung for the Fierce.

Yeah, I've never owned any old glass. I always break it before it gets old. I saw a glass repair recently using heat shrink tubing. Looks like it'd be a good option for this break if your tape doesn't hold. I'll add a link if I can remember where I read it.

The bottom black plastic piece popped right off, just as @DirtyD said. I deep cleaned everything with iso and a reusable scrub brush (no disposable pipe cleaners, thank you), gave it a good rinse and dried it all. I rubbed a bit of Dynawax on the rubber pieces and put everything back together...

I was giving my F2 a long overdue cleaning yesterday. I pulled the whitish silicone spacer out, trying to get the glass out of the mouthpiece. I couldn't get the glass out but was able to get it pretty clean. Now how do I get the silicone piece back in? Does the black plastic piece come apart...

Loving my 14 mm coil, no problems with it at all...until I tried to install a temporary heat shield as directed earlier in the thread. There's a reason I pay other people to do stuff like this for me. Apparently I messed something up because I couldn't get it to heat up. mr_c was very responsive...

I've started flavor chasing, hitting before the click. I'll heat my cap for a few seconds and take a quick puff to check the temperature. A bit more heat, another quick puff, repeat as necessary, to stay in the low temp, high flavor range. I guess it's a sip and dip but hovering just below the...
