Yes, you can grind or just throw a little nug in. I find it works best half full and loosely packed, YMMV.

Volcano is probably a good choice for you. It has a pretty large bowl so you can use more meds if needed. I second that you should reach out to @stickstones . He'll point you in the right direction.

I don't own a Volcano but I own a Herbalizer that also has good temp control and blows bags. I think it will work well for you. I personally found no trouble in switching to vaporizing. I cover the carb for ~2 seconds then a quick open. I repeat that until the cool down click.

I keep a mason jar around. Lift up the lid just enough for the stem to fit and give it a good short puff. It helps to do it when the stem is still warm as well.

@RUDE BOY Here's some more usage. Very dirty unit doesn't function as well as clean I have found. Effects taste as well. Fortunately, it's simple to clean!
