I'm sure you could use cotton string to help reinforce the wood. Also, if you find that the carb hole is too close to your mouth, you can always flip the body so it's further away. I just did it and it seems to perform the same. Edit: The string could get in the way of the digger outer.

I think the reason the TI/Woodie is difficult to fill using the Dynastash has to do with the fact that the tip of the bowl is too blunt. I think I might try to 'sharpen' mine a bit to see if it helps.

The UD is a great choice! It will conserve your meds for just as long in my opinion. You can use the same style stem as well.
