I love my D4. Auto switches for battery types, even LifePo. It's high rate charge is 750 mA so really not that high. A very good rate IMO. Once you put 3+ batteries in it the charge rate drops to 1/2 that. (375 mA) No worries as far as I'm concerned.

I just use a safety pin. Not much to worry about on the other side but the holes can clog. Pretty rare actually. Using a toothpick runs the risk of breaking pieces into the holes..?

Your fine. Around 6 is good and there's other variables like temp and herb type. 8 is perfect for a new unit.

Maybe better, but not as classy. I think we had mixed feedback on the charging side. Some have had it charge but later found not as it should. My guess yours was using the battery to heat. Now we have had reports that some units will work with the PA supply if you REMOVE the internal battery...

    Arizer Solo

It's of no use with the newer Solos. It might do some charging but not the recommended voltage as it falls short. Charger is 12 volt and that unit is 8.5 volts. Designed for powering the older models in a more true PA type configuration. This option is no longer with the units that can be used...

Very interesting fault. Sounds common by your experience but haven't heard of it here before. The logic sounds sound enough. We have had lots and lots of this type of reported trouble and the advice has always been to replace the battery. The reported feedback has always proved correct...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

I thought the high temp is the replacement..? Only difference is addition of heat gaskets and countersunk the heating plate. The function is the same. Problem was with the heavy burners were cinching the wood around the plate. Since concentrates generally takes more heat, the gaskets prevent the...

Have to agree with the Q man here. Sounds like a battery issue. Good chance it's gone south. You could try and leave on the charger for a few hours extra to maybe balance out the charge some. That's if one of the two cells is weak causing the protection to shut it down. Nevertheless, getting a...

    DIY Bulli Vaporizer

Why thank you. It's been a great ride modding this device to suit the herb users needs. Has ended up far exceeding my initial expectations big time. Mostly do to the TC technology changing in the ecig world. Have never had a dry coil warning..? Maybe an option to avoid when purchasing an TC...

This is correct but over exaggerated. The talk stems mainly from the fact Titanium does emit it's own form of dioxide when heated to 1200 C. (2190F) Check out the Chemical properties on THIS page. So, yes, yes, yes, IT WORKS!!!!!! The Titanium 22 AWG was the ticket. Here is the resulting ABV...

    DIY Bulli Vaporizer

Hey guys. Been experimenting with the new TC unit. So far, loving it. There is a couple bugs which I'm working on fixing and ends up I'm again waiting on another delivery of more element wire. So thought I'd give an update for those who might be following the thread. The main problem which...

    The Arizer Air

Air hands down comparing to the FM. My flowermate got shelved pretty quick. Works OK but goes through the stash too quick for my liking. I also had trouble getting consistent vapor with the FM. Worked good full but tapered off after just 2-3 pulls. OTOH, I read others get much better results but...

This is going to be a breakthrough...? Still using the Bull with the Nemi and found the method to use is almost identical to the FlashVape. Fire for 2-3 seconds followed by pulsing while monitoring the taste. Lacking the visual but shorter vapor path. Can milk it great now that I'm getting use...

Thanks for the compliment @xenodius. Cool your on board with the idea. A small correction on the coil above. Believe it or not, that coil and all that wire ended up being only .2 ohms cold. So hard to measure that low of resistance. This is OK for the TC handle but none of my VW handles...

    DIY Bulli Vaporizer

Hey @xenodius, good stuff. I certainly agree that the Bulls design is perfect for experimentation into the vaping world. Incorporating a light sensitive feedback is brilliant!! Making it work correctly will be a fun challenge. Using the FM enclosure should help. I've had my Bull shelved for a...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

I would highly expect you would receive with your unit. If not, these look like a good alternative. For the buck and change for 10, might be good to have anyway? They look like they will extend the vapor path to boot.

    Titan vaporizer

Hey guys, here is a follow up on this post on re-doing the T2's heater. The initial insulator from that post did not work that well as it took the unit much longer to reach vaping temperature. I have now re-done it using cellucotton and high heat O rings (from Solo) to hold in place. Works much...
