Depends on your surge protector. Some "surge protectors" are just 'power strips,' that provide multiple outlets, with no additional protection. Look up your model surge protector/read the info on it. See what it protects from, etc. AFAIK, some surge protectors can protect against 'larger' surges...

Okay, I made one. I hacked open a DVD-R drive, and got the lens out. I took a box of little debbies brownies, and cut a 1"square piece out. I used a razor blade, and made a crude hole, a little smaller than the lens. then, with the lens laying flat on the table, I laid the little debbies box...

I can pack that amount, and get several good hits too. I just did it all in one hit for the video. But, once in a great great while, I put a GONG 18mm donwstem on the Cloud, with an ELB about that size packed, and sip it. I get several good tasting hits, very potent (minimal airpath, about 3-4")...

I bet! Someone mentioned something along the lines of, the devastator and a hydratube together, stripping too much flavor, etc, from the hit...I think, it would be a great way, however, to get a very large hit, and not have any of the typical ill effects, of harshness/heat, even if you sacrifice...
